The Firewalkers is a campaign and community platform operated by Scott Seivwright, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The site is available at firewalkers.earth. For privacy enquiries, contact us at hello@firewalkers.earth.
This policy applies to all pages on the firewalkers.earth domain. It does not apply to third-party platforms we link to — WhatsApp, YouTube, Formspree, SendFox, and Plausible each have their own privacy policies, linked below where relevant.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any form of behavioural profiling. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for marketing purposes.
If you sign up to our mailing list, your first name and email address are stored by SendFox, our email platform. You will only receive emails you explicitly signed up to receive. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. To unsubscribe at any time, click that link or email us at hello@firewalkers.earth and we will remove you within 48 hours.

When you submit a form on this site — a media enquiry, an affiliate application, a tool request, a campaign report — that submission is processed by Formspree and forwarded to us by email. Formspree stores submissions temporarily to process them. We retain form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, after which they are deleted.

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how people use the site. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites. The data it collects — page views, referrer sources, country, browser type — is aggregated and anonymised. It cannot be used to identify you.
Plausible is fully GDPR-compliant and does not require a cookie consent banner. Their privacy policy is at plausible.io/privacy.
Our WhatsApp community is hosted by WhatsApp (Meta). When you join, WhatsApp processes your data according to their own privacy policy and terms of service. We do not receive or store your WhatsApp data. WhatsApp's privacy policy is at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Some pages on this site embed YouTube videos. When you play an embedded video, YouTube may set cookies and collect data according to their privacy policy. We use standard YouTube embeds — if you are concerned about YouTube tracking, you can watch videos directly at youtube.com/@firewalkersearth.
If you are based in the UK or European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding any personal data we hold about you:

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
We retain mailing list data for as long as you remain subscribed. We retain form submission data for as long as is necessary to respond to the enquiry, typically no longer than 12 months. Plausible analytics data is aggregate and anonymised — it does not contain personal data and is retained indefinitely for trend analysis.
The site is served over HTTPS. All data submitted through forms is transmitted securely via Formspree. Mailing list data is held by SendFox on secure infrastructure. We do not store credit card numbers, passwords, or government identifiers of any kind.
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us at hello@firewalkers.earth and we will delete it promptly.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of the page. We may also notify mailing list subscribers of significant changes. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
